Hello again, in this beautiful morning we want to talk to you about some more about the best attractions located all around our beloved country, Indonesia. In previous articles before, we talked about the attractions that available in Bali, and then we continue our journey to one area called Cepu in Central Java. Also located in Central Java, the place we’re gonna talk about now is none other than the district Kendal in Central Java.

Not like the things to do in Malioboro that have so many non natural attractions in the city, in Kendal you can find so many natural ones located side by side. So, it won’t be so hard to notice any one of them. So, don’t expect to finding the malls or supermarket, or just traditional market to buy some stuff. While in Kendal, you must focus on having fun in the natural attractions that you can find only in here. So what are those spots? Let’s find out below:

1. Sea Pantai (Beach) Cahaya

The first beach we want to tell you about is the Sea Pantai Cahaya. The Beach of the sea is located right in village called as Sendang Kucing, or Cat Lake. Of course there’s history about why the place was named as Sendang Kucing, but that will be a different matter right now. So, if you imagining the beach  that looks like in the things to do in Wonosobo, well you might be abit wrong here. Not like the other beaches that offer you with the their sand, in the Sea Pantai Cahaya, the things get a little bit different.

So, in this beach you can find so many sitting benches, complete with colourful giant umbrella on them. AS you can guess, that benches are use to be the gathering place either for family or maybe just place to sitting and chatting with the whole gang of yours. You don’t need to bring you swimming equipment in here because the place is not really fit for that. But, you can bring the foods or drinks that you can et during your visit in Sea Pantai Cahaya.

2. Ngeburk Patrean Agro Tourism

You might find another agro tourism in Central Java like the one you can find in things to do in Cepu which offers you dozens of natural stuff inside of it. Well, in the Ngeburk Patrean Agro Tourism, things will the same. With some further development, they created the place as the great place for growing vegetables and fruits. They also provide you with the activity to pick them if they are ripe enough.

3. Ngebum Beach

This is not the Boom beach in things to do in Banyuwangi, this one is called Ngebum beach that located on the area of Mororejo village. Even though it looks as beautiful as that beach on Banyuwangi, this beach is considered pretty crowded with its visitors that always come in large number during the weekend. So, it’s best to come here at the weekdays, if you looking for a quiet place of course. The weekend looks very full of people, you might reconsider to visit this beach during that time.

The cost to enter the beach ain’t that expensive. With a few rupiahs, you can enjoy the beauty of the Ngebum beach with full happiness. And also, there are few facilities like the tires renting to keep you afloat at the sea. It’s actually the most crowded spot in the beach, because so many people want to rent the tire for their kids and maybe them self. You can also bring your swimming stuff in here, the swimming glass might be the best help.

4. Citra Asri Gonoharjo Hot Spring

Enjoying a calm evening in the pool of a hot spring is the best thing ever. You can get the exact moments at the Citra Asri Gonoharjo Hot Spring located in the village of Gonoharjo, on top of the hills. Don’t be unsure about the cold weather around, because all will be paid when you put your body into the hot natural pool. This is also can be the best place to chill out during the tiring day, not so many people came in here.

There’s only one pool in here, it’s big enough for 30 people or so. In the area, you can see the beautiful view of the mountain around you. Because of its location is in the high land, you can see the view of the Kendal clearly from this site. With the great combination between the view and the pleasurable pool, it’s be a great thing to enjoy in Kendal.

5. Medini Tea Garden

After enjoying the goodness of the Hotspring above, you can take a look at the Tea Garden of Medini. Just like the other tea garden inside the things to do in Subang, the spot which has the location in Ngesrepbalong village. Some of you may notice the thick fog around the spot in the picture, it’s not only happens during the morning after rain in the night before.

You can get the perfect example of that picture by seeing all around the place at the morning. The garden will be so foggy in the morning because of the cold weather that exists there always. Be sure to bring your jacket in here during the morning, it’ll be very cold.

6. Jomblom Beach

The next one on the list of things to do in Kendal is this Jomblom Beach. The Jomblo beach is actually the best natural beach that you can find around the area of Kendal. So, it can be the best option if you want to do the things like swimming or anything else.

Also, it’s pretty easy to reach the beach. It has the same beauty as the beaches things to do in Pekalongan, a romantic and yet very calming place. The Jomblom beach is a great attraction for the whole family vacation in Kendal.

7. Semawur Waterfall

In the seventh place we have our first waterfall that located on the area of Blumah village, called Semawur waterfall. Semawur waterfall or Curug Semawur looks like a beautiful painting, created by God beautifully.

The scenery around the waterfall is the best thing that can be found in here. The green vegetations will make the waterfall looks so fresh and satisfying. So, it would not be a bad decision to visit the waterfall. Be sure to check it!

8. Penglebur Gongso Waterfall

The next waterfall we’re gonna tell you is the Penglebur Gongso Waterfall in Gondang Village. This might be the shortest waterfall of all the waterfalls in Kendal. With its height which only reaches about 2 to 3 meters, you can enjoy the water that just came out from above.

This place is not well known by the others, the lack of promotion make that happens. But thanks to that, you can still enjoying the waterfall that free from so many people’s activity. You can do whatever you want in here like bathing or just swimming around the waterfall.

9. Sewu Waterfall

Our last waterfall in our list here is the Sewu Waterfall. The Sewu or Thousand Waterfall is maybe the best one out of them all in our list. The view of it even greater than the view of Semawur Village. But beside all of that, the Sewu waterfall has its own speciality.

The waterfall has 5 streams that came from one river. The number of the streams is the reason why the waterfall was named as the Sewu Waterfall, because they’re so many like there’s thousand of them. It’s a wonderful one and also absolutely worth a visit from you.

10. Sekatul Limbangan Javanese Village

The last place we have here has the relation with Javanese cultures. The place is Sekatul Limbangan Javanese Village, or some people call it as Kampung Jowo. Like the name implies, the place has so many cultures for you to learn and discover.

All the things were made so natural. Even the road there is still using the stoney design, not the asphalt. Also, the buildings there also resembling the Javanese architecture, like the one you can find in Keraton Jogja. Nevertheless, the place is best to visit with family, especially if you have kids. So they could learn the best of Javanese culture only in here.
