1. January to February
January to February are two of the best times to visit Bali if you love spending your holiday in a less crowded vibe. As the island has a rainy season, tourists commonly avoid coming in between January and February.
During the first January, commonly the rain falls harder in Bali, which makes it difficult to go around the island throughout the day. Even so, toward the end of January, commonly the rainfall is lighter so that you can explore the island such as visiting the best cafes in Ubud.
During February, the rain is usually still harder around the first week, but it will be better towards the end of the month. The weather is a bit warmer compared to January, which makes you more comfortable exploring the culture around you.
2. March to April
March to April are two of the best times to visit Bali if you love spending your holiday in the warmer weather. From March to April, even Bali has a rainy season, but it quiets slower compared to January to February.
Moreover, the weather is nice to explore all around Bali, including exploring the Ubud area, which covers green scenery all around the place. Some of the tourist spots are commonly less crowded during these months such as the popular best cafes in Bali.
From March to April, commonly you will get the cheapest flight fare to get to Bali. That makes sense since the weather can’t be predicted precisely whether it will rain or not, which makes it difficult to go out.
3. May to June
May to June can be one of the best times to visit Bali for you to love spending your holiday with the lowest humidity and mild temperature. During May some tourists avoid coming to visit Bali because of Nyepi day, on which Bali is shut down every activity.
Even so, you can feel the experience of the most silent days during Nyepi day in Bali and see how the locals celebrate their sacred celebration. You can feel e different vibe of the culture there when the whole island is shut down and know the rule of visiting the temple by following the dos and don’ts in Bali’s sacred places.
Towards June, the weather increases a bit so that it is perfect to enjoy some places such as beaches or even hiking.
4. July to August
July to August is one of the best times to visit Bali for you to love spending your holiday with all the summer vibes in Indonesia. That is why during these months most tourist spots are crowded with both local and foreign tourists.
If you don’t love crowded places, you can explore the island of Bali outside some of the most popular places there. Try to ask the locals around which commonly they know where the right place you should go.
From July to August, you can enjoy the sunny bright, and clear blue sky around Bali, but you need to be cautious with sunburn. It is better to apply some sunscreen to your skin.
5. September to October
September to October is one of the best times to visit Bali for you to love spending your holiday with a mild temperature. The sun is bright during these months but less hot, so it is perfect to explore the beaches with less sunburn.
The first September commonly for some places have been less crowded since the holiday season is over for local tourist. You can visit those popular places during this time because local tourists barely come there during this month.
October is a perfect month to go hiking if you love the nature of mountains and hills scenery. The sun is still bright, and the sky remains blue during this month, so can enjoy the nature view from a higher area in Bali. You can go through some popular trekking spots in Bali.
Even so, be careful when you come to Bali in October towards the end of the month. The rain starts falling without knowing so it is better to prepare.
6. November to December
November to December can be the best time to visit Bali if you love to explore Bali bit by bit. During these months, November would be less crowded since the rain pours in regularly, and December would be crowded toward the Christmas holiday season.
Some places are less crowded during November for you to love hiking to get the best sunrise view. Even so, some of the days can be dangerous to hike since the rain poured harder than usual during this month.
From November to December, the weather commonly rains in the evening, and the sun is so bright during the day. You better prepare some cold medicine before catching a cold of dry season influenza viruses.
