2. Sea

For the people who like affordable transportation with the safety guarantee for a national company, then they should take the sea route. Using one of the ships from PELNI, you can go to Komodo Island from some big cities in Java island. Each province has one main city. So there are only three main points, Jakarta, Semarang, and Surabaya.

The cost for the ship is only Rp300.000,-, which can be said to be the most affordable one than others. After arriving at Labuan Bajo, continue your trip by using a smaller boat to Komodo Island.

3. Air

And the last one is the air route. Using the air route means using plane which can cost more than the other routes, but also the quickest. Many people have said that taking a plane to Labuan Bajo is interesting because they can see all those wonderful sceneries and everything.

Take a plane from Soekarno Hatta International Airport to Labuan Bajo Airport. In the middle, you will transit on Bali island only for a while. The cost for this also varies from a million rupiahs up to more than 3 million.
