You will also see several ancient temples under dense foliage, including Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal and Pura Prajapati. These two temples are dedicated to village funerals. There are also some Banyan tree roots hanging over moss-covered guardian statues and those will make some interesting photo ops for you!

West Bali National Park does not only serve you a forest area, but there are also open savannahs and mangrove swamps. It actually serves as Bali’s main wildlife and nature conservation area.
It covers around 19,000 hectares of mountainous and coastal zones. You will be able to meet almost 300 different species of animals and birds here, including the rare Bali Starling (Leucopsar rothschildi).
