1. Visiting National Monument (Monas)

National Monument (Monas) is located in Gambir, Central Jakarta. There is no fee to enter Monas area. But to get into Monas, visitors will be charged. Payment of admission uses e-Money, which is Rp 10,000 for adults and Rp 2,000 for children. To get to the top of Monas visitors will be charged again, which is Rp 5,000 for adults and Rp 2,000 for children. Opening hours for Tuesday – Friday is 8 am – 4 pm and 7 pm – 10 pm; while for Saturday – Sunday is 8 am – 4 pm and 7 pm – 0 am. Please note that every Monday Monas is closed.

2. Visiting Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII)

Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) is an amusement park that has the concept of Indonesian cultural diversity. Some might say TMII is the miniature of the Republic of Indonesia.

Here visitors can see a variety of traditional clothing and traditional houses of tribes in Indonesia. In addition, there are also cinemas, museums and water park.

How to Get There
Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) is located in East Jakarta. The admission to enter the gate is Rp 10,000/person; Rp 10,000/car; Rp 6,000/motorbike. To play on the rides, you will be charged again, prices ranging from Rp 10,000 to Rp 180,000. Opening hours is 7 am – 10 pm.
