  1. Visiting Nearby Island

There are three islands closest to the Bidadari Island. The three islands are Onrust Island, Cipir Island and Kelor Island. 

Onrust Island

Formerly, this island is a quarantine place of pilgrimage. When the colonial era, people who just finished from Makkah should stop first at Onrust Island. Because Holland worry that these people carry infectious diseases. Now, the former quarantine buildings were in ruins. It is estimated that the building was destroyed because of the Krakatoa eruption.

In the Onrust Island was built a miniature museum contains several ancient buildings, as well as there are some pictures that tell the history of Onrust Island. In this place, we also can visit the Netherlands tomb. The oldest tomb occupant is a member of the VOC named Cornellis W. Vogel, who died at the age of 48 years. There is also the Indonesian grave in the Onrust island. It is estimated that is the tomb of Kartosuwiryo, a figure that form Daarul Islam. Cipir Island

Not much different from Onrust Island, this island was once also used as a quarantine place of pilgrimage. The difference is on the buildings. The buildings in this Island are still better, not wrecked like in the Onrust Island.

Kelor Island

Kelor island is an island that is much more beautiful among the three island. The view of Martello fortress combined with twigs near the castle makes the castle seem exotic. The sand on the Kelor beach looks white and clean. The view of this place is so beautiful that makes this place was used as a wedding venue of Indonesia Actor, Rio Dewanto.

Return (From Bidadari Island to the Marina Ancol):

  • Monday – Friday: At 2:30 p.m.
  • Saturday – Sunday: At 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Cost: Rp 300.000 / person, you can depart from Marina Ancol Pier, Pier 17.
