1. Visiting Tanah Tingal

Tanah Tingal is built with the concept of nature tourism that emphasizes the rural atmosphere. It has an area of about 10 hectares and consists of forest, garden, lake and river.

In addition to enjoying the natural beauty, visitors can take advantage of various facilities such as swimming pool, fishing pond, flying fox, camping ground and outbound rides. Children can participate in educational activities, e.g. making ceramics, animal feeding, gardening and harvesting paddy field.

How to Get There
Tanah Tingal is located at Merpati Street, Sawah Baru, Ciputat, South Tangerang. The admission is Rp 10,000. Opening hours is 8 am – 4 pm. If you are a nature lover, try to visit Tangerang’s Scientia Square Park. You will have lots of things to do in Scientia Square Park.

2. Visiting Jombang City Forest

Jombang City Forest not only serves as the lungs of the city, but also as a sanctuary for Indonesia’s rare plants. No less than 3,000 species of plants inhabit the Jombang City Forest.

For people of Tangerang, Jombang City Forest is an affordable holiday destination. Here they can picnic, walk around, run or just enjoy the fresh air. Standard facilities such as toilets and parking lots are available.

BSD City Park is situated in Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) area, Serpong, South Tangerang. There are two areas for BSD City Park. The first is at Letnan Sutopo Street and the second is at Tekno Widya Street. It’s free entry. Besides strolling at BSD City Park, there are other interesting things to do in BSD City .

4. Visiting Situ Gintung

Situ Gintung is an artificial lake with an area of about 21.4 hectares that serves as a rain reservoir, source for irrigation and tourist attraction. In recent years Situ Gintung has been developed into a family vacation spot.

Situ Gintung features a swimming pool, beautiful garden, restaurant, outbound rides and a basketball court. Its swimming pool is equipped with waterslide and children’s pool.

Situ Gintung is located at Kertamukti Street, Cireundeu, East Ciputat, South Tangerang. The admission is Rp 35,000 on weekdays and Rp 45,000 on weekend. Opening hours is 8 am – 6 pm. Another artificial lake that is worth a visit is Karawaci’s Situ Cipondoh. Come to Karawaci. Visiting Situ Cipondoh is just one of exciting things to do in Karawaci Tangerang.

5. Visiting The Breeze

The Breeze is a mall with a natural feel. It uses the walls made of glass so visitors can see the beautiful scenery around them.

Uniquely, The Breeze has several fish ponds that give a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. This mall is also renowned as a place for spectacular dining. There are various restaurants and cafes serving from Indonesian food to Western food.

6. Visiting AEON Mall

AEON Mall is widely known as a Japanese mall. Certainly you can find Japanese things here. In addition, its Sakura Illumination Park, which is on the front yard, has always been a favorite location for visitors to take pictures.

8. Having Fun at Ocean Park Water Adventure

One way to enjoy South Tangerang’s hot weather is to have fun at Ocean Park Water Adventure. It’s one of the best water parks in Indonesia.

Some of the favorite rides are wave poll, slides and splash bucket. There are also rides devoted to children so their safety can be ensured.

Ocean Park Water Adventure is located at Pahlawan Seribu Street, Serpong, South Tangerang. The admission is Rp 55.000 on weekdays and Rp 95.000 on weekends. Opening hours on weekdays is 11 am – 6 pm while on weekend is 8 am – 6 pm. Ocean Park Water Adventure is not the only attraction in Serpong. There are other fun things to do in Serpong.

9. Visiting Branchsto

Branchsto combines culinary with a ranch atmosphere. Here visitors can learn to ride a horse, feed horses, ride an ATV, practice archery and ride a mini train.

As for food, Branchsto serves Indonesian food and Western food. There is also a menu for children such as sausage, nuggets, dori crispy and fried chicken.

10. Having Lunch or Dinner at The Flavor Bliss
