1. Kayangan Api

The first tour attraction in Bojonegoro is Kayangan api. It is the most famous tour place in Bojonegoro. Kayangan Api is a source of eternal fire which never goes out and it becomes the biggest source of fire in Southeast Asia. This tour attraction is located in Sendangharjo village, Ngasem sub-district, Bojonegoro.

When arriving at this tour location, you’ll be greeted by the gate with poles lined neatly which restrict the Kayangan Api. So, in order to see the eternal fire of Kayangan Api, you can look into the center of the pole. In there, you’ll see a a circle of a hot rocks with flaming fire. The location of Kayangan Api becomes a sacred place and it is believed by the citizen that this place is belong to a heritage maker of Majapahit kingdom, named Mbah Kriyo Kusumo (Mpu Supa) or Mbah Pandhe.

On the west side of Kayangan Api, there is mud puddles with sulfur substance. It strengthens public’s confidence if Mpu Supa still around doing his activity. The eternal fire of Kayangan Api may be taken for the certain ceremonial purposes such as jumenengan ceremony which was performed by Sri Sultan Hamengku Buwono X. Moreover, to take the eternal fire out, it must through a particular ritual and it can’t be performed carelessly.

2. Wana Tirta Dander

This tour East Java Indonesia attraction is more visited on Sunday. Several spots in Dander’s area include golf course and swimming pool. Not only that, when you come to visit Wana Tirta Dander, you are able to see a plane made by Dutch which has fallen down to this place.

3. Grave of Buyut Dalem

The next tour attraction in Bojonegoro is a grave of buyut dalem. Buyut Dalem is also known as Prince Raden Aryo Dalem. He was a duke of Bojonegoro who served in period 1614 untill 1619.

This grave is treated very well and honored. Then, in the side of Buyut Dalem’s grave, there is also another grave which is belong to Srihuning, his beloved woman.

4. Pacal Dam

There are many East Java attractions. Pascal Dam is a dam built on Dutch period in 1933. The attractiveness of this place is a nature around the dam which is surrounded by the green hills, teak forest, and also overflowing water.

It is located 35 km from South of Bojonegoro. The dam has 25 meter depth and its large is about 3.878 km. The facilities provided in the location of Pascal Dam include fishing pool, home stay, small shops and restaurants, and also rowboat. So, taking your family to visit this tour attraction is a right choice.

5. Pagoda Hwok Swie Bio

Religious tourism which is popolar in Bojonegoro is Pagoda Hok Swie Bio. A building of Tri Darma worship is dominated by the red color along with an ornament of dragon head. This place is most visited during Imlek celebration or Chinese Year Holiday.

The cleanliness of pagoda is always well preserved so that it gets many visitor, not only local visitor but also the visitor who are from the outside Bojonegoro.

6. Kedung Maor Waterfall

The water attraction in Bojonegoro is Kedung Maor waterfall. This waterfall is suitable for spending a weekend or holiday. This place is natural, surrounded by teak forests and pure water of river.

This place is most visited by local tourist, especially during holiday or Ramadan month. the estuary of this waterfall is from a small lake which has stalagtit and stalagmite around. The color of lake water here can turn into green, fantastic, right?

7. Semar Stone

A giant stone which is put in front of Pendopo of Bojonegoro, named Semar Stone. The weight of this stone is about 80 ton, even some people claim that the stone is about 200 ton weight. As for the length of this stone is approximately 4 meter, the widht is 4 meter, and the height is about 3 meter.

There are so many visitor who come to this place. This place is a good spot for taking selca. The stone which is brought from Bendotan Forest, Gondang is actually served as an inscription that symbolizes the sincerity and motivation to always work.

Based on the story, semar stone still has spiritual bound with Eyang Gendro Sari (The master of Pandan Mountain) which is not far from the location where the stone was brought.

Now, garden square of Bojonegoro looks more beautiful with the shady trees that acommpanies the Semar stone.

8. Star Fruit Ngiringinrejo

In this tour place, you will see a large star fruit garden.

All the way to this garden, you’ll be accompanied by the natural rural beauty, star fruit vendors, and also small shops in the village.

Besides that, when you arrive in the star fruit garden, you can take a rest for some minutes in cool gazebo which is surrounded by star fruit trees.

9. Gerak Dam

The next location is Gerak dam. Gerak dam has several functions such as irrigation, flood control, provide water for people around and it is planned to be opened as tour attraction.

This dam is also aimed to establish the ecosystem of Bengawan Solo river and also become a water reserves when the dry season comes. Although, Gerak dam is included as a facility for society but this place has a beautiful scenery, especially in the afternoon in which we are able to see and enjoy the sunset.
